Good bye [TSC] Gaming

I just want to thank everybody for the great year, if it wasn't for all the fun I've had and still having we wouldn't of made it this long. We've been through a lot of bullshit together and at the same time we've created memories that we will remember for ever. But I'm sure over the course of the last couple months you've probably noticed the lack of my presence. I graduated high school, I was truly worried that I wasn't going to graduate so my focus went straight to school and caused me to stay away from my computer. Along with that I stop coming on even after I finished my work because it just wasn't appealing anymore. Finally I graduated and I started to come on more but then, finally got the phone call that has started my career and giving me the opportunity to not have to go to college. I'm currently working at a high-end aftermarket suspension shop full time. This has been the biggest reason for my lack of presence as I work 8-5 plus over time and with traffic it takes me an hour to get home so usually I'm home to about 8 and by that point I'm just dead tired and go straight to bed.

It never really occurred to me that I wasn't coming on anymore until last night when I was told I didn't give the prizes out and that made me realize that I can't do this anymore. Owner ship of [TSC] Gaming is still up in air. As the server is hosted at Spencer's house, but I do not want him running the server as I feel he's not mature enough to handle it at times. My next option would be Royce, as he knows how to keep his cool and think clearly and make good decisions. He also knows how to run the server and keep it maintained with a couple exceptions.

I will not be leaving this place forever, I will still pop in to say hi and do the maintenance when there is something that is not understood. I will still be on vent as often as I can as you guys are my second "family" in a way. This community honestly has just been amazing I never would of though I would create something like this, and at that have it last as long as this. It's been real guys. Thanks for everything.

well...it was fun while it lasted

The server is basicly... well.. I wouldn't say dead but it is close to it. The only people that really still play are the higher ranks pretty much. Even alot of the people in higher ranks are leaving. We aren't seeing any new guest and the amount of intros that we see have started to go down.. I am just saying, to get the server back up to it's full potential, we are going to have to advertise the server alot and vote everytime we get the chance. We also need to get the leadership of the server straightened out. I am all for Royce, Vinnie, and Spencer taking control because I know Royce knows enough to keep it going and Spencer has taking pretty good control in the past few months when timmie wasn't here by getting the server back up when it was down and making sure things happened. Vinnie has great potential to run the server as well because he has also helped make things happen while timmie was gone and he gets things done. I am sure all of the admins have great potential to really run the server, they just need to get more active. I think we have what... 13 admins, and only 3, maybe 4 are active and actualy help run the server. The server has great potential and I think we can show it all if we really try.

God, this is honestly really sad. The server is going down hill...fast. We need to come up with a new idea for the server. For example, we could test out making it like a PvP faction type server for a week on a new map and different server file so that shit doesn't get messed up. But the main goal would to make the server insanely popular and fun again. For a while, whenever I would come on the server, I would just fly around...bored. But I want it to be like when I first joined. I would always be excited to go on and have fun! It's just not there anymore Anyways... bye Tim, I'll miss you :/

man this server is just plummeting i remember when there were like 12 people on now we have 1-2 people :L well i hope we can get this server back up on its feet!

If some people actually keep playing even while nobody is on, more people will get on. Nobody will join an empty server.

Bye Tim, It's been great playing with you and makin memories with you. Thank you for all you have done for the server and Thank you for the time/money/patience you have put into making TSC a womderful server to play on.

I remember when there was constantly 30 to 40 people all the time, the problem is that you guys don't seem interested in whats going on a lot of the times, all of you need to get active and just make videos, I have probably 3 videos I'm going to be uploading later this month that explain how to run a server. Also in game get people to vote just nag them about it, don't bother guests though, but try to be friends with them and keep them going, and if you want people to stay for a long time try and get them to join the Ventrilo server because that's what keeps people staying on because there coming on to the same group all the time, were as skype you kinda have to choose who you are talking to, as well as be silent when you just feel like listening and jump in a convo when you feel like it, none of the mic spam bullshit that skype does

Iv been geting on the server even when its empty. just yesterday i was on for an hour befor someone came on (who was new) and i gave a freindly "Welcome" and they left right after. so mabye it was me but i also was the only one on.

Most people that come on and leave to a welcome are usually griefers. They come on a server with little people on and if someone says welcome they leave.

Best way to advertise, get the server on all voting websites, have everyone vote

second method youtube, everyone start producing videos, get your friends together and make little adventure videos, or maybe a "griefing video" just beware what kind of crowd griefing videos bring in.

Third method, just keep playing and inviting friends, if your decide to play on different servers make friends on other servers and invite them to join us.

If you have anymore ideas think about getting on ventrilo and talking to the admins about an idea, like adding a special map that you think will attract players such as hunger games, we probably missed that trend but keep your eyes out for the next big thing that could possible grab attention, maybe do a gothem city/world, for the batman movie coming out, that will attract players if you start making videos about its production and playing on it!

Its a shame that the server has gone downhill so much since after summer last year, we need to get the server onto planet minecraft and bump the post every 24 hours without fail.
