Plugins

Because we're starting (almost) fresh, once the 1.3 update comes around. We'll be adding or removing plugins.

So post here to suggest plugins. And then you all can vote on the plugins you want. It would also help that you link to the plugin's forum/bukkit page so I can look up on it.

Citizens plug in, allows for Npcs to populate our town, trade good, guard shit, fight, and allot of other stuff

I do not know the name but it allows people to turn into animals and people. We had it before tho.

^^ Yes we should definitely get that because then you could tell the good builds from the shit builds and the flatgrass would not look like a bunch of blocks slapped together...

Plotme basically creates a flatgrass map filled with hundreds of plots. People can't build or break anything there, but if they do /plot auto it will assign them a plot to build on. You can edit the size of the plots in the config and edit how deep the map is. It basically makes flatgrass cleaner and lessens the amount of griefs.

Oh and it's super easy to get and you just use a command through mult-verse to make the world. And there's a command to flag your plot as finished, and then Admins can check the completed plots and leave feedback and shit.

PvP area.

Might be nice if you decide to have a PvP world.(If it can be set to just 1 world.)

Yeah, you basically edit the config to change the plots to however you like, create the world and add the perms (which are pretty basic). Then just edit a plot as a "spawn plot" with a multi-verse portal for people to come and go.

I think we should get the Grief Preventrion Pluggin. What this pluggin does is it allows the player to make a claim of land and he is the only one who can build, destroy, and open chest or furnaces in that claim. This would prevent greifs from the start and it is easy to get used to and use. You can also limit the amount of blocks a player can claim so they don't claim the whole world. This can be determined by rank. If someone is a higher rank then they get more blocks they can claim. Plus you can add people into your claim so others can build and use your chest with you.

In my own opinion, I think that we should get Towny. Many of our members create town's yes? I can name quite a few for ya, Pwntown, Bowerstone, etc. Some people even use plots for towns. Towny adds plots for people to use. I think you can select the sizes of plots that town's can use for their citizens. They are mayors/founders, assistants to the towns, then the towns people. Now there's a catch. IConomy. Every 24 hours (set the time yourself) there will be taxes due. Towns people owe taxes to the town/city so the towns/cities can stay alive. If the tax's cannot be paid the town will fall and be lost in all that debt. Paying money to people helps a growing economy for the towns. If I'm mistaken about IConomy I'm sorry. People like shops in their towns right? Well what better for the town's are the showcases? (I know we have showcases but.. they don't seem to be working correctly as far as I know) I think we could benefit from Towny, IConomy and Showcases. People seem to really like these plugins.
