Ok so, people don't start hating on the idea and be like "WE ALREADY SAID NO, FUCK OFF". Calm your tits, it's someone else's decision now, so I'm going to re introduce the idea.

SO. The idea is adding more ranks. From what I can see, people stay on this server because they like the idea of being able to achieve ranks; which are not insanely difficult to get. In fact, many people quit the server once they reach Adv/VIP because there's nothing further to obtain. This is not always the case, but I see it a lot. Personally, I was on almost everyday since I joined the server trying to reach Adv. I continued to play very frequently until it became fairly boring and I came on occasionally. Once I realised that Master Builder had recently became obtainable I was on a whole fucking lot trying to build shit to get there. I actually was going to donate until we got creative in the flatgrass. Yay my life story of TSC.

I suggest adding several ranks to each line of ranks. Now before you're like "SHITZ BEEN LIK DIS SENSE HELIX DAWG, CAN'T CHANGE DAT SHEET". Look at the pros, and look at the cons. The only real con is "more clutter" in chat(which is an excuse to be a lazy bitch for permissions and such). The server is dying as we can all see so why the fuck not. Change isn't always a bad thing.

These would be the ranks for each tree.

Alternate rank names I can think of: Influential Person, Personage, Big Shot, Luminary, Eminent.

So before I list the commands, I just want to mention maybe having kits for each rank which contain tools, armor and such. It's a simple node, and the kits are easy to create. I did it on Ping and my server.

So, Adv would no longer have any world edit. Artisan will get limited world edit of 3000 or so blocks and some basic world edit commands. ie: set, walls, replace. They would also get /fly, all the falsebook commands (the previous ranks would have some commands for it).
It may not seem like a lot, but from Member -> Builder and Builder -> Adv It's not a whole lot either. Most people do it for bragging rights anyways, and you have to remember, world edit is a big thing.

Architect it gets better. They would have about 10000 world edit limit, with additional commands. ie: smooth, drain, fill, stack, etc. They would have /item along with /unlimited and //(super pickaxe), /killall or /butcher, /tppos, /weather and /time. If you can think of anything else, let me know.

I like where Master Builder is now, I did suggest adding /kick but I can't really complain. With that being said, vanish and tpo are nice to have if you can find it in your heart to add it. As well as all world edit commands.

For the Trusted side, I don't really know what could be added. Minecraft is generally oriented around building, so in turn most commands which are wanted are geared towards building. But, Ace could be some kind of GM. You would get /kick, /fly and /tpo.

With Head Honcho, you would get /tempban, /mute, and /tpohere. You would also be able to spawn items, use /unlimited and // (super pickaxe). I'm not sure if this is possible, but adding rollbacks up to a certain radius? That could work I think.

Then mod would get all the permissions they have now, with world edit of course.

This post may have been needlessly long and there may be many grammar mistakes, but I don't feel like reading it again to find them. I just wanted to get my point across. Not sure if this clarifies my reasoning and shit enough, but HERE YA GO.

Building rank tree seems to be good.

And the Trusted rank tree is a really niche kind of thing only for those that really want to be the "white knights" of the server. Not necessarily those that are always reporting griefers, but generally creating a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for the server. I think I'll redo that side of the rank tree, with those additional ranks.

And the requirements for Builder and Adv would have to be changed, in addition to creating new requirements for the new building ranks.

I am not so worried about the Trusted tree (should be renamed to VIP tree), it'll be like job promotions, where your boss is like "Hey, you're pretty cool". And you get the promotion. And everyone is happy.

Let's try put some latin shit in there to make it sound fancy.

Actually. I want latin ranks to be the top. I don't even know latin.

So if someone has a cool, relevant Latin rank name. That'd be great.

I completely forgot about making the new requirements. The post was long enough as it is.

Ehh, I was thinking about either doing a prompt to answer to build. Either a changing one, or a single prompt that could be very broad.

Or doing it the normal way, which I do not prefer. Seems really half assed.

I should add to this. This [the prompt] really does two things, first it weeds out most of the kids, as far as I can tell, they would really have to try to get this rank, and it lets the others express themselves in a more concentrated manner. People would have to explain their builds and other things like that.

Artifex is the coolest for Builder tree, too close to architect, so we can switch them around or something.

Oh, and we need rank colors. Better suggest them.

I would also prefer one word ranks, so dual ranks would be possible. (Except for mod and Artifex)

Oh man. I can cheat and put a stupid rank like asdgasdg and make it trusted and builder be inherited from it so I don't have to do the same thing twice.

Artisian will be &9 (Some purple blue thing, only one left really)
And Artifex will be &4 (Red)

I want to stray away from the word Trusted for the lower ranks.

They will become Artifexs.

So there's going to be tier 1 through 4. They will be nearly identical.

About the limited world edit, there can't be multiple limits. So I'll up the limit and the requirement a bit.

So I need two rank names for the Trusted tree, they are lower tier, and a latin name for Mods. Preferably a short one, the best I found was Praefectus, like prefect.
