Things are back in order 9-23-11

First off I would like to thank everyone that has stayed with us and has come back after 1.8 i know we screwed up pretty bad weeks in a row with the hard crashes (map resets and corruptions. Thankfully we got the problem solved with some new hard ware (surge protectors and battery backup) I'm going to add the autos-shutoff feature once i install the new Ethernet car because the current one doesn't support WoL (Wake on Lan)

1.8 news
Recommended build is now out 1185 it will be installed later today, expect some downtime, and then constant reloads because i will be installing plugins and eliminated corrupted ones or ones that are not compatible.

Hopefully 1.9 does not come out until November...

World News
-fixing LWC for main world
-removing permissions 3 (way out of date) and adding permissions sql?
-1.7.3 world will be removed on the 28th (Wednesday)
-spawn stairs will be removed and replaced with the portal to go outside instead
-Public Flat grass will be added on the 28th as well
--if you want to use TMI in flatgrass configure it for /i not /give
-essentials will more then likely be removed and replaced with I think it's called MCadmins which will replaced a large number of plugins and reduce the lag because there will be a large number of plugins that will be removed.

RP news
-Rp is now out and season one is now out
-Season one will be really short because its a test season and were getting everything situated and make sure everything is fair.
-seasons will be 4 weeks at a time

How season will work?
Pre-season
-a 5 day period, this is the 5 day period designed for recruiting, there will be a max 5 factions, first come first serve. Wars can start during Pre-Season.

post-season
-this is the time between pre-season and Mid-season during this period factions can be defeated and and then replaced with a pending faction

Mid season (elimination season)
- same as post season but no more pending factions are aloud to join after a faction has been defeated think of this as an elimination period, where the top faction begins to rise

End season
- Seasons over and top faction is awarded, were not sure how we will award yet if any? (perhaps custom ranks for month in main world)

what happens when a season ends?
-all factions are erased map is deleted

How is a faction considered defeated?
-when a faction falls below the requirements
--less then 3 players
---either make there players join your side, go back to villager.
-inactivity
-no more claimed territory (to be discussed)

1.9? if 1.9 is released main world may be marked for removal depending on what comes out. this is to be decided

Team fortress
-payments coming up
-going to change hosting company more then likely

CSS
-lost my update command and don't give a fuck

BF3
-I might pre-order a server with my own money just to have it to be one of the first

Admins
I like to congrats my Admins on the behavior change, its been almost 2 weeks now and no complaints.

Start recruiting players for TF2, if you think of something to add to attract more players suggest it.

Get more donators, if you have ideas for getting donators suggest it
-remember to say if gives you Admin on the TF2 server

tim 1.9 was prereleased yesterday but should do anything with it until its official release

Tim use permissions X its a new permissions plugin and is pdated ti the current recommend buikd of craftbukiit.

I told you, if you want donators get a CLASSIC SERVER not the creative map... (or get someone to host a classic server for you)
