READ: How to Become A Builder
READ THE SECOND POST FOR THINGS YOU SHOULD TAKE INTO ACCOUNT.
Hi. I'm Royce, or The_Weirdo9. I'd like to become a Builder now.
So my first build is Tic Tac Toe
Here's the part used to prevent multiple signals working on the same sqaure. So, you can't have an O and an X in the same square.
A closer view, each RS latch goes into the display.
Here's a look at the turn detection, so someone can't go twice. Theoretically, it should work flawlessly, but redstone is slow. So.
My second build is a face-clock.
It uses two counters, one for each hand. This is the hour hand. The minute hand is the same thing.
The minute hand, with a view of the arching that goes up into the display. That took forever.
A closer look, with a look at the decoder.
My third build is a digital clock. It's a 24-hour clock, and I would like to refine it, but it would be so difficult.
A look at the decoder for the one's place for the minutes, near the top, and the decoder for the ten's place decoder in the center, and to the left is the counter.
This is just a part of why this is more difficult than a standard 12-hour clock. The counter is just silly.
Underground doesn't have any kind of counters, it's all gating.
My fourth build is a dot matrix display, which is exactly complete, but it does work. I just want it to be programmable, but it's not quite they\'re.
Here's what I call the "memory". It can store 300 bits. they\'re are five layers of sixty each.
A data flip-flop, which is the main flop-flop used here. Each row is all connected together with a delay of two ticks between each.
The main clock that drives the whole thing. Everytime the clock pulses the pixels move over one.
The fifth and final build is a multiplier. I would have had other stuff, but I decided this would be enough for now.
The AND gates, the only part of this process that is actually multiplication, the rest is actually addition.
Just the adders, lots and lots of them.
The inputs and outputs are binary, and here are the outputs.

Re: READ: How to Become A Builder
Now, why did I post this.
Things that are necessary for Builder/Important notes
-A poll
-At least four builds. You may be able to sneak away with three, but they better be good.
-All pixel arts count as one build. Unless it's really nice, don't bother. Here, pixel art is anything that is an image. A 3D rendition of your MC skin is considered a pixel art.
-The builder application MUST BE POSTED BY YOU UNLESS AN ADMIN HAS OTHERWISE STATED. You can't get your friend to post it for you, figure out how to do it. It's fairly simple.
Other Tips
These do apply to Advanced Builder
-Take pictures of multiple views, and try to get good shots. I didn't do well, but hopefully you fare better.
-Explain the picture. Explain what's going on. This may be more difficult with buildings, but you can just say it's so and so part of the house.
-Build more than the necessary four if you're going to go over the top. It will definitely help your chances of people voting yes. For Advanced Builder, take more time to build more or better things.
-Simple wood and wool houses really aren't impressive. I would avoid putting those in.
-Be creative and do something someone hasn't done before.
-Turn your fog to normal or far just for photos. I realize that you can get terrible lag with far/normal fog, but just for pictures, change your fog so builds can be clearly seen.
