Ban appeal.

So yeah, i found out my password again.. (Many thanks to Reilly for making the ban appeal for me before)

So, as everyone clearly knows the rest of the admins and myself hardly have good history. Not surprising, as many can't stand me. (Yes, im Scottish so im full of myself).

Thats not why you, (yes you) are reading this though, is it?

I was banned about a week ago from the server, after causing a crash with the creation of a lot of blocks.

Now, let me tell you the story -

So Pingbro And Boss were working on their flying houses, or whatever they are. and boss tp'd me to him and asked me to help fix 'this fucking shit house' that Pingbro had made. So we removed the roof. Then, in preparation, i planned to fill in the base of the top of the roof with stone. Now, because of the modpack i use (VoxelBox) i had a macro client installed. (keyboard shortcuts) and so i simply pressed '}' to do the command '//fill 1 100'. This is because i build a lot of big things on CSMGaming and it saves a lot of time. But anyway, i pressed this macro without realising there was a hole in the roof at some point (clearly.) as instead of filling the 20 or so blocks, it filled.. well, a few more. Ultimately the server crashed stopping me from doing any follow up commands like //undo, for example. When i came on later that day, i spawned in and around a lot of stone. So i started using //wand to try and remove it the best i could, after repeatedly trying //undo. Spencer was on at this point, and asked me what i knew about it, so i told him how i had accidently filled more than i meant too. He said that i was bullshitting and that i had intentionally tried to crash the server. (Stupid idea under any circumstances.) He banned me and deranked me. Later on, i logged in and got on. I had been unbanned. (Joyous occasion.) I then started playing and assisting people until Royce joined, I was immediately deranked and banned. (After what im sure was an abrupt conversation on vent) and told that i would be unbanned after Spencer spoke to Pingbro.

Its now been a week and i feel thats more than enough time, even for the laziest of people to get to the bottom of what actually happened. Which is why im making this ban appeal.

glad you like my house i think you deserve another chance a mistake has happened to a admin,mod or masterbuilder at least once over the time and you cant deny that because everyone knows people make mistakes. so i vote yes he should be unbanned.

I was indeed with him when that happened and that's exactly what happened.

I vote for him to be unbanned.

i feel this shouldn't even be a reason for a ban appeal, as this kind of thing shouldnt happen.

some admins (just some) (not pointing anyone out here) need to pay more attention to what happened. if matt could have explained just this before he was banned it could have saved everyone some of trouble

Like i said patate, it was an accident, and i did clearly tell spencer what had happened, he just didn't believe me.

I think he meant 'I'm in before Tim got here' which would mean that Tim would go soft on you and unban you but he calls bullshit (Royce does)

Thats what i thought at first, but i can never be sure

My underlying point anyway is that it was a mistake. Now that the modpack is outdated you no longer need to worry about the macro (Yay.) And I also spent a lot of time on TSC, minecraft just feels weird without occasionally going back to it. (Aww cute.)

Yay, we've reached the second page and still have no idea what the fuck is going on. (This is a bump, if you haven't realised.)

I personally think Matt should be unbanned, i have heard a lot worse things happen with world edit (Not mentioning Names). From what i've seen Matt is a nice guy, and a great admin, And should be given another chance to prove himself.

I'm fine with him fucking up, mainly because I do it all the god damn time.

Only thing he fucked up is not telling anyone. If you crash the server, especially if it's not yours, you tell Tim. Some admin is almost always in vent, and you just tell them to tell Tim.

Otherwise, it's just some dumbass who crashed the server. And because no reason was given, malicious intent is always assumed.

Like i said, Hugo and Ping were on but that was all, i've not had vent installed on my new computer so i couldn't go on it anyway. If they were on vent with tim i'm sure one of them would have said to him that it had crashed.

When i did get back on the server i tried to clean it up but that was a slow effort and Spencer took over and undid it. I didn't crash the server on purpose, like you said you do it often. In any case, i was unable to tell anyone until i was able to get back on, and when i did i was banned.

It was a mistake and i am positive it won't happen again.
