but im curious as to why i was banned? i was playing fine til 4am last night then logged off and tried getting back on this afternoon and it tells me im banned? anyone tell me why?

Im sure an admin had a reason for banning you, possibly griefing. You'll have to wait for the admin to own up until then i can't help you.
