No we will vote on this one, I'm trying to but I can't sign in for some reason. we added this ad last night and almost instantly 10 new guests came in and it looks like 3 became members

Tsc has had 2500 new players appx. Ever. So, out of two thousand five hundred players, about 20 were active until yesterday, and maybe 15 of that 20 are on weekly. About 8 daily. So, having around 13 people join in 15 minutes? The ratio isn't 3/10. The success rate is actually about 10/3. Because on average, if TSC has been around for 2.5 years, 912 days, do the math. 2.7 players a day. Which isn't accurate at all, because 90 percent of those players joined and never came back. So, having 3 players join and become members, and if they stay, the ratio of new players won't be 3/10. It will be about 304/.008 for every 15 minutes that the advertisment is up. Rough estimate of course, but still, the number is close to that. The cost to have 3/4 new members that stay, would be however much it costs to keep it up for 10 minutes everyday, maybe 2 days a month, and suddenly we have 72 solid players that are active just from advertising at the end of the year.

No, the averaged total users over the course of 2 and 1/2 years is about that. The total MEMBERS in my calculations increase by 10/3 compared to the number of people that have joined in the past TOTAL. not an increase in just players. So, 10/3 new members put next to 13 new people joining per 15 minutes. See what I mean? It is total like 100x more players... Server has only been on for a year and half, we're a month over exactly half. Getting the reciprocal of Vinnie's already "pulled-out-ass" statistic is wrong. You also seemed to misinterpret what the statistic was, which is members/total members. The number for that is 700/2521. This includes everyone that is not a guest. (This is funny because Vinnie's statistic wasn't to bad. About 7.4% error.) Also having a higher success rate than 100% is impossible. I don't know why 10/3 made any sense at all.
And since we're going to talk about players/day or whatever. I'll assume the server started on the first introduction. That's pretty generous. So let's try it. So. it's been 583 days since the start of the server. This might be off a day or two, sue me. With that in mind, we would have 2521 players/583 days, so 4.3 new guests a day. For members, 700/583, 1.2 new members a day.
And I don't know what this 304/.008 is, but that's 38000. And if we're talking about people, that's a lot.
tl;dr 102.232% of all statistics are made up -52.352% of the time.

My math is right, it is just not labeled, and I am wAAAAYYYY AAAAAA too lazy to do it again, so lets just agree. Advertising = more people.

Well, yeah . Also, can we get on most of the server websites? Not just sticking to one that brings in barely any new members? And since the server is advertised saying "friendly staff and community", there shouldn't be people quitting because someones being an ass to them.
